Refood is an independent, citizen-driven organization that aims to eliminate food waste and hunger in every neighborhood. It operates as a voluntary charity community, dedicated to creating a more sustainable and compassionate society. Refood builds a bridge between food surplus and the needs of those who are hungry by mobilizing local communities to become part of its 100% voluntary movement.

By rescuing tons of quality food that would otherwise go to waste, Refood not only transforms waste into nutrition but also positively impacts the lives of everyone involved, fostering a true circular and caring economy. With 60 active centers, 6,800 beneficiaries, 7,500 volunteers, and 2,500 partners, Refood generates a significant quantitative and qualitative impact. The movement contributes to over half of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, actively promoting a more just, supportive, and sustainable society.
