REACH is a nonprofit impact organization in Roanoke, Virginia known as R eal E xperiences A ffecting CH ange. As an umbrella organization, REACH encompasses five programs: Summer Service Camp, Alternative Breaks, Neighborhood Revitalization Projects, Community Connections, and Corporate Volunteering. Each program operates based on REACH's mission to restore hope, alleviate loneliness, and empower individuals by bringing people together to transform homes, lives, and entire communities.

At the core of REACH, three values guide their work. They value dignity, believing in the inherent worth and respect for all people. They prioritize responsibility, encouraging individuals to use their assets for the benefit of others.

Additionally, they hold service in high regard, recognizing the joy and fulfillment that comes from selfless acts of service with and for others. While REACH acknowledges that they can't eliminate all physical troubles, their focus is on instilling hope for a brighter future, fostering community support, and empowering individuals to carry on. REACH believes that actions speak louder than words and that the act of helping others is both fulfilling and contagious.
