Read and Feed is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to strengthening literacy skills among under-served elementary school children and providing meals in a nurturing neighborhood environment. With a mission to help children in need, Read and Feed has been making a significant impact in Wake County for over ten years. The organization operates multiple program sites, including three mobile classrooms and additional sites in Communities in Schools and area churches, serving 24 locations in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Rolesville, and Knightdale.

With the support of over 500 active volunteers, Read and Feed provides 7,700 hours of tutoring, distributes over 15,000 books annually, and offers crucial administrative services.
