About

Description

With a history dating back to 1943, RFA Engineering, formerly known as Minnesota Engineering Company (MEC), was formed by a group of talented tool designers who left the Northern Pump Company in order to meet the tool design needs of the defense industry. Over the years, RFA Engineering has evolved and expanded its expertise. In 1962, under the leadership of Bob Rogers, the company shifted its focus towards product development engineering services.

In 1967, Rogers and Frank Freels purchased Frontier Engineering Service Company and rebranded it as Rogers, Freels and Associates (RFA). In 1970, RFA acquired Minnesota Engineering Company, giving rise to RFA/MN Engineering. Today, RFA Engineering stands as the largest multi-disciplined engineering service provider in the mid-west.

With a centralized Engineering Center in Eden Prairie, MN, and engineering teams working across 9 states, RFA Engineering offers world-class mechanical and electrical engineering services. What sets RFA Engineering apart is their commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of each customer. Their success can be attributed to the strong principles inherited from their predecessor, Minnesota Engineering Company.
