The Rockville Science Center is a dynamic brand that provides an interactive space for all ages to engage in hands-on learning and connect with the scientific community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are supported by grants from the City of Rockville, local entities, sponsorships from scientific organizations, and donations from our visitors. We offer a wide range of programs for children, teens, and adults, including afterschool and weekend classes, STEM Scouts, lecture series, clubs, and field trips.

Our special events, such as Rockville Science Day and planetarium exhibits, create unique opportunities for exploration and discovery. Located in Rockville Town Square, our storefront on Maryland Ave serves as the primary hub for classes, while our makerspace at the Rockville Memorial Library offers additional resources. Our mission is to inspire a passion for lifelong scientific exploration amongst our diverse community.
