About
Description
Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is a non-profit cultural and educational media arts organization in Toronto. As the longest-running free community film festival in the city, RPFF is a beloved staple in the community and the sole community film festival in Canada's largest and oldest public housing neighborhood. Our mission is to showcase local and international independent works that resonate with people from all walks of life.
In addition to our annual festival in November, we offer year-round screenings, an annual School Program, workshops, and community events. We are dedicated to serving key communities, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities, people with low-income, people who live in public housing, and Regent Park residents. At RPFF, we believe in breaking stereotypes and highlighting the diverse narratives of our communities.
Through our core values of Accessibility, Equity, Community, and Celebration, we organize an annual festival and provide year-round education and opportunities for artistic expression. Join us in celebrating the power of film to inspire change and amplify diverse voices
