Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and services to victims of child abuse. Established in 2005, Safe Harbor serves the 4th Judicial District in Tennessee, encompassing Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, and Sevier Counties. Their mission is to create a child-focused and child-friendly environment for our most vulnerable citizens, our children.

Sadly, many children have been abused by family members or individuals they knew and trusted. Safe Harbor works closely with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, medical and mental health providers, and the District Attorney General's Office to ensure a gentle and less traumatic experience for the children. At Safe Harbor, the investigative team brings their services to the child, providing a warm and welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable and safe.

This approach minimizes trauma and maximizes opportunities for healing and protection. The Executive Director, Maggie McNally, joined the organization in April 2020. With a wealth of experience advocating for victims of crime and abuse, Maggie is dedicated to creating positive outcomes for the most vulnerable populations.
