SAIL Group is a leading minerals trading company that was founded in 2011. Over the years, we have become a significant trader in chrome ore, shipping approximately 1 million tons annually to China. Our success is built on innovative approaches to both the ore product itself and the logistics involved in transporting it to our customers.

In 2016, as part of our strategic integration and growth strategy, we acquired two valuable chrome assets in South Africa. The first is the Black Chrome Mine, an underground mine situated on the Eastern limb of South Africa's Bushveld Igneous Complex (BIC). The second is The Palm Chrome exploration project, a prospecting open-pit mine on the BIC's Western Limb.

These assets have the potential to greatly strengthen our company's operating base. Furthermore, we are currently in the process of acquiring a 90% holding in Chrometco Limited, a JSE-listed mining and minerals exploration company. This acquisition will allow us to incorporate our existing chrome projects as majority-owned subsidiaries under the Chrometco umbrella and assume direct management of Chrometco.

Additionally, 25% of our trading arm will be owned by Chrometco. With the development of the highly efficient Black Chrome mine and our collaboration with Chrometco's Rooderand mine, we have the potential to produce 1 million tons of chrome per year at a low cost.
