Samurai Startup Island (SSI) is a co-working space located in Shinagawa, Tennozu Isle, operated by Samurai Incubate Inc. Our mission, starting from the opening of SSI on November 1, 2011, was to create a startup holy land in Japan and a beacon for startups in Asia. Over the past seven years, SSI has become a thriving hub for startups, supporting over 130 resident companies, receiving sponsorship from around 30 firms, and fostering collaborations between entrepreneurs, corporations, professionals, media outlets, overseas startups, and investors.

We are deeply grateful to all those who have supported us throughout this journey. It is with their support and guidance that we have achieved remarkable results. With the knowledge and affection we have gained from SSI, we have decided to embark on a new challenge, closing SSI at the end of November 2018.
