About
Description
Eugene Science Center, located in Eugene, Oregon, is Lane County's premier hands-on science museum and planetarium. With a rich history dating back to 1961, we have been engaging and inspiring children for over five decades. Our mission is to excite curiosity and instill a lifelong love of learning about science in children, empowering them to use science and technology to make a positive impact on their communities.
At Eugene Science Center, we offer a wide range of educational programming, including interactive exhibits, planetarium shows, school and public programs, science camps, and special events. Our focus is primarily on children aged 0 to 14, along with their families, teachers, and guardians. Our brand is defined by the vibrant YInMn Blue pigment discovered by Mas Subramanian at Oregon State University in 2009.
Our complimentary colors, orange and green, are derived from the chemistry of YInMn Blue. Our logo is a creative representation of the Fibonacci sequence, symbolizing growth and learning. Visit Eugene Science Center today in beautiful Alton Baker Park and embark on a fun-filled learning experience for the whole family
