SFHHA, the South Florida Hospital & Healthcare Association, has been a force in the local healthcare industry since 1944. As a not-for-profit organization, SFHHA's mission is to improve the efficient delivery of quality healthcare services to our communities by championing collaboration and communication among leaders across the healthcare continuum. The association's membership accurately reflects the diversity in South Florida and focuses on issues unique to our community.

SFHHA is also home to the South Florida Hospital Research & Education Foundation (SFHREF). This subsidiary supports hospitals and health-related organizations by coordinating and co-sponsoring education programs, increasing the supply of healthcare professionals, and retaining healthcare professionals and workers in South Florida. SFHREF conducts research and fosters the accumulation and exchange of healthcare information.
