Signal Centers is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening children, adults, and families through a wide range of services. Established in 1957, Signal Centers has evolved from a small program serving nine children with cerebral palsy into a leader in early childhood education, assistive technology, and family development. Their Children's Program and home-based services now support nearly 200 children, while Adult Day Services and Assistive Technology Services have been created to meet the needs of the community.

Signal Centers also partners with the City of Chattanooga to implement Family Forward, an initiative offering mentoring, resource connection, and community building for families in the area. Furthermore, Signal Centers manages the Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral Network, providing training, advocacy, and technical assistance to licensed child care professionals, parents, and children across all 95 counties in Tennessee. They also administer Tennessee WAGE$, a state program supplementing the salaries of early childhood educators.
