Sisu Youth Services is a brand that offers a low-barrier, identity-affirming space for at-risk youth in Oklahoma City. Our story began in 2010 when Penny Reynolds started collecting and sharing resources to help the youth in crisis. Over time, the mission grew, and in 2014, the Sisu Youth Day Center was established, providing emergency support services for unhoused youth.

However, we realized that our youth needed a space that was open every day, where they could be accepted and supported regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, cultural background, or religious affiliation. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and generous donors, we have expanded to become an emergency overnight shelter and drop-in resource hub for unhoused and at-risk youth. Together, we strive to show empathy, kindness, and respect, and ultimately end youth homelessness.
