SOFAUSA, also known as the Society for Financial Awareness, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to providing financial education across America, one community at a time. With a team of professionals specializing in various financial fields, SOFA offers valuable services to individuals, companies, and organizations through informational workshops. These workshops cover a wide range of financial topics and concerns, including retirement planning, debt management, college planning, and more.

SOFA members, using their credentials and expertise, conduct no-cost, no-obligation seminar workshops in the community, fulfilling the Department of Labor's ERISA 404(c) Requirement for companies offering defined contribution pension plans. The workshops are designed to be informative, entertaining, and educational, providing attendees with valuable topic-specific information. SOFA offers two formats for their workshops.

The first is a brown bag lunch and learn format, typically presented at companies and organizations, while the second format is a lunch or dinner seminar that the SOFA member promotes and sponsors, covering all associated costs.
