Sofo Foods is a prominent distributor of high-quality food and food service products, with a specialization in ethnic cuisine, particularly Italian. Founded in the 1940s by Antonio Sofo, the company began by catering to the Italian community in Toledo, Ohio. Antonio would personally travel to Detroit to source authentic Italian products, which he would then deliver to his customers in the back of a single truck.

As the business expanded, Antonio's son Joe joined and recognized its potential for growth. Today, Sofo Foods is run by the fourth generation of the Sofo family, Mike and Joe Jr. The company has become the largest ethnic food distributor in the Midwest, operating distribution centers in Toledo, Suwanee, and Houston.
