L Sisters Leadership Collective, known as Sisters Organizing for Understanding & Leadership, was a transformative organization that centered on empowering Black and Brown girls and femmes impacted by the justice system. Through collective leadership, artistic expression, healing, and restorative justice, we strove to disrupt cycles of violence and create a world where young women and TGNC youth could reclaim lives of authenticity and joy. Embracing a gender-expansive definition of sisterhood, we aimed to uplift and support individuals across the gender spectrum.

Our vision was to cultivate a community where marginalized youth could thrive, heal, and lead the way towards collective liberation. Despite our recent dissolution in December 2022, our legacy lives on through the impactful work we accomplished in Miami and New York City.
