Student Success Network (SSN) is a collaborative initiative formed by a group of New York City nonprofits. Their goal is to go beyond traditional academic skills and prioritize Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) for student success. Through collaboration and continuous improvement practices, SSN aims to empower young people by equipping them with the skills needed for post-secondary academic, economic, and social-emotional well-being.

For the past eight years, SSN has been building a strong foundation for change. They have created an SEL measurement tool to compare results across programs and identify effective practices. SSN has also formed deep roots with organizations and communities, focusing on data-driven improvement and strengthening collective knowledge of SEL as a tool for improving student outcomes.

Additionally, the network is committed to being anti-racist. Their approach involves collaboration and partnerships to develop policy and practice solutions, conducting research to expand knowledge, building practitioner capacity, elevating youth voice, and sharing and scaling evidence-based solutions.
