Summit Educational Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the academic excellence and character development of economically disadvantaged inner-city Milwaukee students. Their mission is to complement the formal education system by implementing the A. V.

I. P Strategy, which stands for Academic skills, Virtues, Individual attention, and Parent empowerment. Summit offers a range of programs to achieve their mission.

Inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Summit was founded in 1990 by a group of professionals passionate about improving the lives of inner-city students. They aim to address the two main causes of the high dropout rates: the lack of close connections with caring adults and an absence of firm moral values. Through their One-On-One tutoring and mentoring program, Summit fosters relationships between dedicated mentors, parents, and children, encouraging intellectual, cultural, and moral growth.
