The Chases eventually sold the paper to the Scripps League of Newspapers in 1963, followed by its acquisition by Swift Communications in 1975. The Tribune publishes in print every Friday and also features a captivating arts and entertainment publication called Lake Tahoe Action. In a groundbreaking move, the Tahoe Daily Tribune transitioned from a paid, broadsheet newspaper to a free, tall-tab format on April 16, 2007, setting a new industry standard.

The Tribune covers the southern part of Lake Tahoe, including Incline Village, Nevada, which offers exceptional skiing in winter and world-class summer activities. As part of Swift Communications, Inc., the Tahoe Daily Tribune continues to deliver reliable news and engaging content to the Tahoe community and beyond
