About

Description

TCPoly is a brand that was founded in 2017 by Dr. Thomas Bougher and Dr. Matt Smith, who were completing their PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Georgia Tech.

Leveraging their expertise, they developed the world's first thermally conductive 3D printing filament called Ice9™ Flex filament. This innovative material is being used in industries such as heat exchangers, mold tooling, and electronics thermal management, and has been sold in over 20 countries. In 2020, when COVID hit, TCPoly shifted their focus to developing the XPanel™, the world's most efficient energy recovery system for commercial buildings.

This endeavor ignited their passion for clean energy and energy-efficient technologies, leading them to work towards the decarbonization of heating and cooling in buildings while providing fresh, clean air to occupants. TCPoly's groundbreaking research received funding from prestigious institutions such as the Georgia Research Alliance, National Science Foundation, and Department of Energy. They have also raised significant funding to continue developing their materials and printed products.

With TCPoly's Ice9 line of filaments, you can use your 3D printer to create parts that transfer heat instead of insulating it. They also offer printing services if you don't have a 3D printer. Join TCPoly in their mission to revolutionize the way we heat, cool, and provide clean air to buildings while making a positive impact on energy efficiency and sustainability
