Texas Empowerment Academy is a Pre-K-12 charter school located in Austin, TX. Founded in 1998, our mission is to provide children with an innovative alternative for educational excellence. We serve primarily African-American students, offering a nurturing and empowering environment for their growth and development.

At Texas Empowerment Academy, we believe in the power of education, character, and leadership. We offer a range of programs and services to support our students' academic and personal growth. Our college planning program prepares students for success in higher education, with resources and support for college admissions, scholarships, and college visits.

We also offer dual credit courses in collaboration with Austin Community College, allowing our students to earn college credits while still in high school. In addition to academics, we prioritize social-emotional learning, providing support and resources to help our students develop essential life skills. We also have a strong focus on the arts, with a robust performing arts program that nurtures creativity and self-expression.
