About

Description

The Texas Peanut Producers Board, established in 1969 and funded by voluntary checkoff money, is the oldest agricultural commodity board in Texas. With nine directors and three staff members, we are dedicated to supporting and expanding the Texas Peanut industry. Our initiatives include peanut research, consumer and grower education programs, and market development and promotion.

Working collaboratively, Texas Peanut farmers ensure the industry's vitality for future generations. Meet our dedicated board members, including Chairman Grayson Wilmeth, Vice Chairman Jeff Roper, Secretary/Treasurer JR Cudd, and others representing various regions in Texas. Our Executive Director, Shelly Nutt, leads program development in alignment with the board's mission.

Additionally, we affiliate with state and industry organizations to promote the peanut industry's growth and success. Join us in celebrating Texas Peanuts - a Crunchy Legacy!
