The Blair Project is a multi award-winning social enterprise based in Manchester, dedicated to providing alternative vocational and technical training in digital manufacturing and new energy technologies. Our mission is to empower and uplift young people by recognizing and building on their strengths and potential, ultimately boosting their educational achievement and attainment. At The Blair Project, we are proud to be the only organization in the UK that converts petrol go karts into fully electric e-karts.

Through this innovative initiative, young individuals have the opportunity to test and race these e-karts, discovering their own talents and developing hands-on electrification skills. Additionally, we offer the ProtoEV STEM Challenge, a cutting-edge motorsport competition where underrepresented youth can get hands-on experience with electric vehicle propulsion systems and battery technologies. This program not only helps them uncover hidden talents but also opens doors to exciting career progression pathways.
