About
Description
The Brothers' Network, founded in Philadelphia in 2008, is a dynamic brand that expands upon the inspiring legacies of the Harlem Renaissance and The Black Arts Movement. At our core, we aim to dismantle the perils of a single narrative surrounding Black Men by fostering dialogue and cultural change through art. Our platform unites artists, intellectuals, writers, thinkers, and the wider community for impactful discussions and discourse.
Our brand is underscored by four influential figures who epitomize the foundational principles of The Brothersβ Network. These luminaries embody the richness and complexity of Black identity, and their work serves as a catalyst for the brilliance we amplify. Alain Leroy Locke, James Baldwin, W.
E. B. DuBois, and Stuart Hall are the thinkers, philosophers, and shift-shapers who inspire us.
Driven by our mission, we endeavor to engage, inform, and enlighten society about the historical contributions of Black men. Our vision is to challenge and transform misconceptions surrounding Black men in culture. Through curated experiences, activities, and programs, we leave a meaningful impact while promoting a multiplicity of identities.
With this, we seek to eradicate the confines of a single narrative for Black Men. Join us in our journey towards a more inclusive and informed society by supporting our cause. Together, we can create meaningful change
