About

Description

The Cabot Theatre is a historic treasure located on the North Shore. Founded by the visionary Ware Brothers, this venue has a rich history of showmanship and architectural excellence. Originally opened in 1920 as The Ware Theater, it was renowned as one of the most impressive auditoriums east of New York.

Over the years, it has been a center of community life, hosting vaudeville shows and silent movies. In 1976, The Cabot went through a remarkable transformation when it was acquired by Le Grand David and His Own Spectacular Magic Company, entertaining audiences for 37 years. The Cabot is a rare survivor among the movie palaces of the 1920s, and it was saved from uncertain future by a dedicated group of founders.

Today, it continues to thrive as a vibrant live music and arts venue after a multi-million dollar renovation, bringing the ambiance of the 1920s into the modern era. Join us at The Cabot and experience its timeless magic for yourself
