The Margate School is an independent not-for-profit postgraduate liberal arts school located in Margate, Kent. Situated in a former four-storey Woolworths Building, the school has become a hub for innovation and creativity in the town, playing a vital role in Margate's regeneration. With a theme of Art, Society, Nature, The Margate School offers socially engaged and sustainability-driven programs.

They provide knowledge sharing, collaboration, co-creation, and peer-to-peer learning, enabling creative practitioners to realize their potential in a critically reflective way. The school is rooted in the community and connects nationally and internationally through their academic programs, events, workshops, residencies, guest lectures, and exhibitions. They strive to support Margate and its diverse creative and wider communities.

The Margate School offers postgraduate courses in European Fine Art, Visual Communication, and Sound Arts, and they have recently launched the Margate Festival of Design and the High Street Community Garden project
