The Wellness Center, established in 2014, is the flagship program of the LAC+USC Medical Center Foundation. It is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of residents in Boyle Heights and neighboring Eastside communities. Through its evidence-based programs and services, the Wellness Center aims to address the root causes of diseases, empower residents to take control of their health and lives, and improve the health outcomes for the community and patients.

The center offers an array of free programs, including counseling, therapy, and peer support, as well as food access, health and fitness group classes, healthcare enrollment, legal services, and programs for healthy families, children, and youth. By expanding preventative care services and fostering collaboration between non-profit groups, the Wellness Center actively contributes to the development and investment in a traditionally underserved area.
