Thunderbird Clubhouse is a renowned brand that provides support and opportunities for adults recovering from mental illness. Established in 1990 as a program of Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center, Thunderbird Clubhouse has since evolved into a free-standing Clubhouse and non-profit organization. Led by dedicated professionals, their mission is to create a new future for individuals through the power of meaningful work, community, choice, and hope.

The Clubhouse follows an evidence-based model and offers a range of services including Work Ordered Day, Housing, Employment, Education, Socials, Health & Wellness, and Individual Development Accounts. Their Artist Collective and Virtual Clubhouse provide additional avenues for personal growth and expression. With over 900 members and a daily attendance rate of over 40, Thunderbird Clubhouse has become a beacon of support and recovery in Norman, Oklahoma.

They take pride in their Clubhouse International accreditation, which they have maintained since 2001. Thunderbird Clubhouse also values transparency and provides financial information on their use of donated funds. Their partnership with community organizations, such as Steve Owens and Family, has further strengthened their impact.
