Train Jam is a unique and exciting brand that brings together developers to create games during a 52-hour train journey from Chicago to San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference (GDC). This collection of developers takes part in a fun-filled game jam, utilizing their creativity and skills in the process. The Train Jam experience begins with a series of pre-jam festivities, followed by check-in at Chicago Union Station.

The kickoff event marks the start of the jam as the train leaves Chicago. After approximately 26 hours of travel, the halfway point is reached, and the jam wraps up on the final day. Train Jam offers different ticket options, including individual coach class, Superliner Roomettes, Family Style Rooms, and Deluxe Sleeper Rooms.

The cost includes breakfast, snacks during the journey, and even a showcase space at GDC (GDC pass not included). Train Jam is also committed to promoting diversity and offers initiatives to assist developers from under-represented cultures and genders.
