Trashless Inc., formerly known as Lettuce Networks, Inc., was a brand that aimed to provide a comprehensive zero-waste grocery delivery service. However, due to financial unviability, the company made the difficult decision to shut down its operations in March/April 2023. Despite their best efforts, Trashless faced various challenges, including rising costs, intense competition from wasteful players in the grocery industry, costly infrastructural breakdowns, and a mainstream consumer market that was not actively pursuing solutions to the climate crisis.

Unfortunately, these obstacles prevented the company from turning a profit before running out of funds. Despite this setback, Trashless expressed heartfelt gratitude towards their customers, vendors, employees, partners, investors, and the extended global community who supported their mission to make the world a better place. In the spirit of sustainability, the remaining physical assets, inventory, online accounts, brand names, and code are being donated to local nonprofits, refilleries, food pantries, and entrepreneurial teams.
