The Vision Institute (TVI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting achievement, independence, and accessibility for individuals who are visually impaired or blind. Established in 2010, TVI was formed to address the statewide need for comprehensive services for the visually impaired community. At TVI, we believe that achievement and independence are unique to each individual, regardless of age or disability.

Our team of certified professionals, including early childhood educators, reading specialists, and rehabilitation experts, are committed to assisting individuals of all ages with low vision, blindness, and deaf-blindness. Through our services, we provide specialized instruction in visual impairments, orientation and mobility, special education, and rehabilitation. Our dedicated staff also offers braille transcription services for schools, businesses, and community events, and trains individuals to utilize technology for access to the printed world.
