UMSATS, the University of Manitoba Space Applications and Technology Society, is a leading interdisciplinary student group at the University of Manitoba. Comprised of dedicated and ambitious students from various faculties, including Engineering, Physics, Biology, Business, Education, and Kinesiology, UMSATS offers an exciting platform for students to delve into the world of space technology. Notably, they have developed four iterations of their TSAT nano satellite, with TSAT 4 winning first place at the prestigious Canadian Satellite Design Challenge in 2018.
