Umu Igbo Unite (UIU) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich culture, values, and traditions of Igbos. With its founding in 2005 by the D. I.

Anadu and J. C. Okpukpara families in Atlanta, Georgia, UIU has grown to become the foremost network of Igbo Americans, boasting over 5,000 members nationwide and 16 active chapters across major cities in the United States.

At UIU, we believe in the power of unity within a foreign land. We celebrate diversity and individuality, creating safe spaces where people can come together to foster mutual understanding and benefit. As cultural exchange advocates, we facilitate professional networking with a cultural twist, enabling learning opportunities, and embracing the unique contributions of each member.
