UnitedWayABC is a brand that is dedicated to promoting education and equity through their multi-generational, cross-sector cradle-to-career partnership called United for Youth (U4Y). They firmly believe that Equity and Educational Excellence are Inseparable. Their vision is to ensure that all children and youth have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a vibrant, healthy, and connected community.

The brand's mission is to actively identify and remove barriers to opportunity and co-create solutions that support student success. UnitedWayABC's goal is for all Asheville City and Buncombe County students to graduate from high school ready and fully prepared to pursue their goals and dreams by 2035. This partnership is forged between Asheville City Schools, Buncombe County Schools, United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, and representatives of the local health, social service, higher education, and youth services community partners.

UnitedWayABC aims to ensure that all schools and partner programs are safe, welcoming, and compassionate. They strive to provide support and tools for healthy and successful lives to all families and neighbors. Moreover, their work focuses on ensuring that all students graduate high school fully prepared for college, career, and community.

Through collaboration with youth and family leadership, UnitedWayABC aims to ensure that educational outcomes are determined by the quality of schools and partner organizations, the abundance and accessibility of opportunities in the community, and the strength of collaborations. They are committed to eliminating predictability in educational outcomes based on a student's race, home language, family income, or any other dimension of identity. To achieve their vision, UnitedWayABC has formed a Partnership Agreement that serves as a mutual accountability tool and a guide to measure the fulfillment of their promise.

They continuously work on connecting and learning from the community through their Facebook group, volunteering opportunities, and staying updated with the latest news. UnitedWayABC is proud to work alongside a wide range of partners who have formally signed on to support their Bold Community Goal. These partners include ABTech Community College, Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, Asheville City Schools, Buncombe Partnership for Children, and many more.
