About

Description

United Way of Tulare County is a local, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been fighting for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every Tulare County community since 1981. We work to provide resources and funding to community benefit organizations that align with our strategies and meet our Standards of Excellence. Our range of programs and initiatives include Farm and Food Workers Relief, which offers $600 cash cards to eligible farm and food workers in California, as well as the College Access Initiative, which provides text messages to middle and high school students to help them prepare for college.

We also offer emergency support for individuals struggling to pay for rent, utilities, or food. Through our 211 Tulare County service, we connect people to resources, services, and opportunities 24/7 through a non-emergency phone number, website, and mobile app. We also have volunteer opportunities available and accept direct donations.

Join us in our mission to create a stronger and more resilient Tulare County community
