USA Cycling is the premier national governing body for cycling in the United States. With a rich history dating back to 1920, we are dedicated to developing and promoting the sport at all levels, from grassroots to professional. Our mission is to foster a culture of excellence and achieve sustained international racing success while prioritizing safety, integrity, and the joy of cycling.

We oversee a wide range of disciplines, including road, track, mountain bike, cyclocross, and BMX. At USA Cycling, we support and empower cyclists of all ages and abilities. We are renowned for identifying, developing, and selecting athletes to represent the United States in international competitions.

Additionally, we provide essential infrastructure and grassroots development programs to support amateur bike racing. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, we are situated at the heart of the US Olympic movement. Our approximately 60,000 members include racers, coaches, officials, mechanics, and race directors, forming a vibrant and inclusive community.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we fund our operations through member-generated revenue, sponsorship, donations, and support from the USA Cycling Foundation. We receive no government funding and are committed to financial transparency.
