NABEA, the National Association for Black Engagement with Asia, is a dynamic brand that aims to increase the representation of Black Americans engaging with Asia. Founded in February 2019 by a group of passionate Black Asia specialists, NABEA recognizes the unique experiences and challenges faced by the Black community in Asia, and strives to integrate and uplift Black voices within the U. Additionally, their Listserv offers a newsletter to stay updated on Asia-related opportunities, events, and announcements. Through their programming and events, NABEA works towards building a mutually beneficial economic, political, social, and cultural relationship between Black America and the Indo-Pacific.
