With a vision of a world where reverence, gratitude, and care for each other and for the living Earth are central to everyone's lives, UUMFE serves as a seedbed for spiritual grounding and education. Grounded in faith and spirituality, UUMFE affirms and promotes the principles of Unitarian Universalism, as well as the proposed 8th principle.

Additionally, UUMFE is committed to environmental justice, striving to center the leadership and needs of frontline communities. Recognizing the importance of collective action, UUMFE emphasizes the significance of partnerships in saving our biosphere. Led by a board of directors, staff, and volunteers, UU Ministry for Earth is deeply rooted in the long history of Unitarian Universalism's commitment to environmental and human rights issues.
