The Public Health Council of the Upper Valley is a dynamic organization working to improve the health of residents in New Hampshire and Vermont. As one of the State of New Hampshire’s 13 regional health networks, the PHC collaborates with a network of community stakeholders to provide shared public health initiatives and services. They prioritize addressing various community health issues such as substance misuse, supporting older adults, promoting healthy weights and lifestyles, improving oral health, and more.

The PHC stands up for health equity and does not discriminate based on various factors. With funding and support from local towns, private donors, foundations, and healthcare institutions like Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital and Dartmouth-Hitchcock, the PHC empowers organizations, professionals, and citizens to make our communities healthier. They also have a strong support system including Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, and various towns in New Hampshire.
