About

Description

The Virginia Automobile Dealers Association (VADA) is dedicated to serving Virginia's franchised new car and truck dealers since 1943. Originally known as the Automotive Trade Association of Virginia, it was founded by dealers in response to the challenges faced during World War II. VADA represents dealerships and works tirelessly to advocate for their rights and interests at the General Assembly, with regulators, and with manufacturers.

Throughout its 75-year history, VADA has remained committed to dealer advocacy and has become one of the most successful and influential lobbying groups in Virginia. They have made significant progress in strengthening Virginia's laws to protect dealers from unfair trade practices. The association also emphasizes togetherness and leverages economies of scale to benefit its members by purchasing products and services like insurance at competitive rates.

Under the leadership of Don Hall, VADA's President & CEO since 1988, the association has maintained consistency in its approach to preserving the rights of Virginia's new car and truck dealers. Additionally, VADA offers the VADA Group Self Insurance Association (GSIA) to improve workplace safety and provide affordable workers' compensation premiums. For more information and to get in touch with VADA, visit their website or contact them at 804.
