Val de Lire is a dynamic and engaging brand that is dedicated to promoting children's literature and fostering a love of reading. As an association, Val de Lire organizes the annual Youth Book Fair, as well as regular read-aloud sessions and training sessions related to children's literature and reading. They are a member of the National Federation of Youth Book Fairs and Events and have been organizing the Youth Book Fair in Beaugency and its surrounding communities for 37 years.

Val de Lire goes the extra mile to bring the joy of reading to everyone through their mobile library, Roulebarak. Their itinerant van travels throughout the region, sharing the treasures of children's books. In addition to these activities, Val de Lire conducts storytelling sessions in various settings such as waiting rooms, schools, libraries, and parks.

They are also actively involved in promoting literacy and combating illiteracy. With a commitment to promoting literacy and fostering a love for books, Val de Lire is making a positive impact on the community and inspiring young readers to explore the world of literature
