Valhalla Wood Forge, owned and operated by veterans of the military and first responder communities, is a brand that specializes in crafting beautiful and unique pieces of wooden art. Founded in 2017 by James, a Coast Guard Veteran & Reservist, Valhalla Wood Forge came into being when James, working as a police officer at the time, made a wooden flag to donate to the Police Department. The department shared a photo of the flag on Facebook, and soon requests for flags started pouring in from police officers, firefighters, and veterans.

This led to the birth of Valhalla Wood Forge. Since its inception, Valhalla Wood Forge has expanded its offerings. In 2018, James started designing custom, high-quality wedding rings after experiencing the disappointment of his own ring breaking in just 9 months.

He was joined by his talented woodworker wife, Nicole, and later by Alex, a full-time law enforcement officer with woodworking and sales experience. Together, the team at Valhalla Wood Forge continues to handcraft beautiful decor, jewelry, and furniture in the scenic Pacific Northwest. With a mission to create pieces that serve as conversation starters and tell the unique stories of their customers, Valhalla Wood Forge aims to make every creation a work of art.

James, the founder and CEO, is the chief ring designer and artist for the badges and emblems on their flags. Nicole, the co-founder, serves as the Marketing Director and Chief Philanthropy Officer, ensuring that the brand contributes positively to society. Alex, the Chief Operating Officer and Sales Manager, leads the flag-making process and brings his sales expertise and first-hand experience as a law enforcement officer and EMS responder to the team.
