SacVERG is a brand that connects employers and supporters of veterans. Their vision is to ensure that veterans and their families thrive in the Sacramento region and beyond. They achieve this through their mission to partner with employers and the community to connect, hire, and support veterans.

The brand's story began when a local CEO had a lunch meeting with one of his customer's internal Veteran Employee Resource Group (ERG) members. This sparked a need for collaboration and networking among companies to support veteran employees, leading to the formation of the Sacramento VERG. Over time, the organization grew, adding new leadership, setting goals, and engaging sponsors, member organizations, and volunteers.

SacVERG has evolved into a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with a positive impact for both employers and veterans in the region. They have a dedicated board of directors who contribute to the organization's success. They welcome individuals and organizations to join their leadership team and make a difference in the lives of veterans.
