Bodegas Viñátigo, part of Canary Wine, has been recovering the grape varieties of the Canary Islands in the northwest of Tenerife since 1990. With vineyards located at over 700 meters of altitude, the influence of the trade winds creates a drastic difference in temperature between night and day, creating the perfect conditions for grapes like Tintilla, Vijariego Negro, and Bastardo. Their wines beautifully showcase the volcanic soils of the Canary Islands and the unique native grape varieties.
