VLAIO (Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen) is the go-to organization for all entrepreneurs in the region of Flanders, representing the Flemish government. Our aim is to stimulate and support innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a favorable business environment. Working in collaboration with various partners, we focus on several key areas: 1.

Stimulating growth and innovation: We provide financial support to organizations through subsidies, enabling them to expand, transform, or innovate. Examples of such subsidies include the kmo-portefeuille, kmo-groeisubsidie, and research & development projects. 2.

Promoting entrepreneurship: We work with strong partners who can guide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the pre-startup phase to growth and even acquisition. We also support networking initiatives targeted at growing businesses. 3.

Supporting clusters: We assist organizations that foster collaboration and dynamics within groups of businesses and knowledge institutions. 4. Enhancing environmental factors: We facilitate the development of business parks and provide appropriate facilities for companies.
