VUWAFC, also known as Victoria University of Wellington Association Football Club, is Wellington's exclusive football club situated right in the heart of the city. Founded in 1943, VUWAFC has grown to become one of the largest senior clubs in the region, boasting a membership of over 300 individuals and fielding an impressive lineup of 20 teams, including 4 women's teams and 16 men's teams. Our club is managed by a dedicated Executive Committee comprising of passionate volunteers who strive to create playing opportunities for individuals of all ages, genders, and skill levels.

At VUWAFC, our Women's Firsts team competes in the prestigious Women's Central League, while our Men's Firsts team competes in the highly competitive Capital 1 league. We offer a wide range of teams across various grades, ensuring that every player can find a suitable team to participate in. Our club rooms are located at Kelburn Park, conveniently situated just a short stroll from Victoria University's Kelburn Campus, beneath the iconic cable car.

Our primary training facility and home ground is the renowned Boyd Wilson Turf situated on the Kelburn campus. However, many of our teams also play home matches at other venues such as Kelburn Park, Nairnville Park in Khandallah, and Anderson Park in the Botanical Gardens. While VUWAFC shares a close partnership with Victoria University, we welcome members from all walks of life, with no requirement for individuals to be current or past students.
