Wallnuts Murals is a muurschildercollectief (mural painting collective) based in Amsterdam. Founded by Lienke Raben and Esther de Korte (also known as vonik design), Wallnuts Murals is the result of their combined love for hand painting. With over a decade of experience, Lienke, who works as a Creative Director at Clarify, specializes in illustration and handlettering projects.

Esther, a full-time freelance illustrator, is passionate about all things handmade and works on various projects including prints, packaging, and patterns. Since its inception in 2017, Wallnuts Murals has had the opportunity to work on numerous dream projects, ranging from small restaurant paintings to large office murals. While most of their work is within the Netherlands, they have also been fortunate enough to travel to cities like Athens, Milan, Frankfurt, San Francisco, and Washington DC.

The team starts each project by understanding the client's story or idea and carefully examining the location to explore its potential. They then create concept sketches, followed by a scale design, and finally bring the vision to life through the actual painting
