About
Description
NAMI Washington County Oregon, located in Aloha, is the local affiliate of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. As a non-profit and volunteer-based service organization, our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by mental illness through support, education, and advocacy. Even in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, NAMI Washington County remains committed to serving our community.
While our office is currently closed to the public, we continue to provide vital services. Our dedicated team is available to take phone calls, update our blog and social media pages, and offer virtual support groups and events via Zoom. At NAMI Washington County, we believe in offering understanding, being mutually sensitive, providing inspiration, giving support, and sharing information.
We also educate the general public on mental health and actively advocate for recognition of mental health programs. Furthermore, we work towards seeking legislation to aid the mentally ill. Join us in making a difference by reaching out to us at (503) 356-6835 or visiting our website.
Together, we can create a more supportive and educated community around mental health
