About
Description
WasteWhat is a brand that is passionate about waste reduction and environmental sustainability. Founded by Matt Zimbalist, a builder, designer, and entrepreneur, WasteWhat aims to make a positive impact on communities by minimizing waste. Matt's extensive experience in ecological farming and nutritive cycling systems has allowed him to design and construct sustainable projects throughout the West Coast.
Peter Lollo, another key member of the team, brings over a decade of expertise in the waste management field. He has founded an eco-hauling company and led waste-reduction programs in Berkeley, contributing to the brand's commitment to promoting a greener environment. Carly Fishman, with a background in Art & Design and Food Systems, lends her creative and marketing skills to WasteWhat.
Her work with environmental non-profits and agricultural institutions enables her to effectively communicate the brand's goals and missions. WasteWhat operates the Re-Up Refill Shop, located at 6025 College Ave in Oakland, CA, where they share facilities. This flagship project serves as a space for customers to refill essential household products, reducing single-use plastic waste.
By supporting WasteWhat, you are contributing to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to waste reduction and environmental preservation
