West Columbia Gorge Humane Society (WCGHS) is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to saving the lives of animals since 1994. Located in Washougal, Washington, WCGHS offers a range of programs and services to ensure the welfare of animals in need from our community and beyond. With a small staff and over 100 passionate volunteers, WCGHS provides compassionate care and assistance to thousands of pets and people each year.

From adoptions and volunteering opportunities to pet food pantry and veterinary assistance, they are committed to pets, people, and the community. Their shelter hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30pm to 5:00pm, by appointment only. They have separate dog and cat shelters conveniently located at 2695 Index Street in Washougal.
